No need to panic though, we have created an anti aging smoothie with everyday ingredients to help reduce those fine lines and wrinkles.
Anti Aging Smoothie
- 1 cup of coconut water or almond milk
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tbs of chia seeds
- 1/2 cup of mixed berries
- 1 serve of protein powder (pea or rice protein)
Place all ingredients into a high power blender and blitz for 30 seconds until nice and smooth. Drink straight away.

How these ingredients are anti aging
Hydration plays a major role in skin health. Water helps to carry nutrients and oxygen to the skin cells, and removing waste products that can affect skin health. Water can also help to keep the skin barrier strong, protecting it from damage and infection.

We included these two ingredients as they are high in antioxidants.
Free radicals (bad guys) are created in the body from a poor diet, pollution and high stress and damage your skin cells.
Antioxidants (good guys) protect your skin by neutralising these free radicals. By consuming plenty of antioxidants, you can shield your skin from inflammation and oxidative stress that can occur from your everyday life and slow down the anti aging process.
Avocado & Chia seeds
Avocado and chia seeds contain Omega 3 fatty acids. These fatty acids keep our skin plump and hydrated and reduce any inflammation.
Our bodies cannot produce essential fatty acids, so they must be included in the diet.
Collagen and elastin is what keeps our skin firm, plump and supple. Having enough protein in the diet is essential as it is what supplies our body with the factors to ensure good collagen and elastin production.
