Naturopathy takes a holistic approach to gut health, no matter what the symptom. Chantelle and Renee will look at how we can strengthen the gut and support the good bacteria that reside in the digestive tract. But we also take steps to reduce the bad bacteria and any factors that are causing further damage to the gut.
From a TCM point of view, digestive issues are due to stagnation in the stomach or spleen channels. Karolina uses acupuncture, herbs, dietary and/or lifestyle changes to allow digestion to work effectively and improve absorption of nutrients.
