Simple But Nutritious Smoothies

A smoothie is a quick and easy option for a filling nutritious meal but with so many recipes and ingredients out there, making a smoothie can get complicated very quickly.

To get it right you need to make sure it has a good balance of carbs, protein and fats.  This handy guide is perfect to help you get the balance right!

Blue buzz

  • ½ cup Mixed berries
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 1 handful Baby spinach
  • 1 tbs Chia seeds
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil

Kiwi Green

  • ½ Frozen Banana
  • ½ Kiwi fruit
  • 1 handful Spinach
  • 1 serve Protein Powder
  • 1 cup Coconut water
  •  1 tbs Chia seeds

Creamy green

  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • ½ Avocado
  • ½ Frozen banana
  • 1 handful Baby spinach
  • ½ Cucumber
  • 1 tbs Natural yoghurt
  • 3 Strawberries

Red Rush

  • ½ cup Frozen raspberries
  • 1 tbs Nut butter
  • 1 handful Baby spinach
  • 1 cup Coconut water
  • 1 serve Protein powder

Breaky on the run

  • ½ Frozen banana
  • 10 Almonds
  • 1 cup Oat milk
  • 1 tbs Chia seeds
  • Pinch Cinnamon
  • 1 serve Protein powder
  • 1 handful Spinach 

Chocoholic

  • ½ Frozen banana
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 1 handful Baby spinach
  • 1 tbs Chia seeds
  • 1 tbs Nut butter
  • 2 tsp Cacao powder
  • 1 serve Protein powder

Instructions:

Place all ingredients in a powerful blender with a few blocks of ice and blend for 45 seconds.
